Geoff Cunningham is coming back to Walgett for a second Field Day, What Plant Is That. As co-author of Plants of Western New South Wales, the book considered by many locals as the 'bible' of native plants, Geoff will share his vast knowledge uised to gather information required to aasemble this guide and reference resource, illustrating and describing the great array of plants in this dry pastoral section of New South Wales. Geoff became aware of the need for a comprehensive record of these plants, for both the people involved in research and advisory services, and particularly for landholders who need to manage plants for their livlihood. Would you like to meet Geoff, take a stroll around a paddock very close to town and look at and discuss plants from our region? Then please join us.
