Opening Hours

Tuesday:       10.00 am till 1.00pm

                     2.00pm till 5.00pm

Wednesday:  1.00pm till 5.00pm

Thursday:      9.00am till 12.00noon

                    1.00pm till 5.00pm

Friday:          1.00pm till 5.00pm

Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, all membership forms for children must be signed by an adult in the presence of Library Staff.

STORY TIME for children age between 0 - 12 is on Thursday Mornings from 10.30am.

Walgett Book Club every fourth Friday of the month from 12.00pm until 3.00pm

The Walgett Library offers a Monthly Book award for children borrowing from Library within the month.

The Joyce Medcalf Book Award - for children in grades 6 - 8 and grades  9 - 12 at school - $100 book Voucher for the best review within twelve months.
