Rural addressing

Rural addressing is an Australia wide initiative to establish a unique address for all rural properties.
During 2007 and 2008 Walgett Shire Council undertook extensive public consultation regarding the implementation of rural addressing. Between May and August 2009 the program will be completed when Council establishes rural address posts at the entrance to each rural property.
