Burren Junction

Last modified: November 22, 2007 - 4:01 PM

The town of Burren Junction

The most popular reason for stopping in Burren Junction is to take a dip in the hot artesian bore baths located on the outskirts of town. Many recall the story of an American lady who found soaking in the therapeutic water so beneficial she stayed for a fortnight and bathed every day. A children's pool, dressing sheds and floodlighting mean the baths are a popular location for locals and tourists alike.

The local population is renowned for its ability to turn on really great celebrations and the establishments that cater for such social events are the Junction City Hotel RSL and Sporting Club.

Be you a health fanatic, a bowler, a fisherman a traveller wanting food or petrol or just a person looking for pleasant company, try stopping a while in Burren Junction.
