Burren Junction Pool is Open!

The Burren Junction Pool is now open with unlocked gates and an honesty box system in place.

Please help keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone:

  • Follow all posted pool rules
  • Supervise children at all times
  • No glass within the pool facility
  • No running
  • Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided
  • Respect other pool users

Please report any excessive rubbish, hazards, or inappropriate behaviour to Walgett Shire Council. Our team checks the facility daily to ensure it remains clean and safe for the community.

Please note: The Burren Junction Pool is closed between 8am and 11am every Tuesday to allow for deep cleaning.

The pool operates from the October long weekend through to the Easter holiday weekend in April, subject to weather conditions, staffing availability, and community need.
