CLUBGRANTS

Walgett Sporting Club Category 1 Club Grants Opens Soon.

ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest grant programs, providing more than $100 million in cash each year to a variety of worthy causes across NSW.

Charities, sporting organisations and not-for-profit community groups are among tens-of-thousands of worthy causes funded through the program each year.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply, you must be a not-for-profit organisation and provide the following project and/or services:

  • community welfare or social services,
  • community development,
  • community health services or employment assistance activities.

You are also eligible if you or your organisation is involved in community or professional sport.

Projects in the following categories qualify for Category 1 funding:

 

 

Community Welfare and Social Services;
Community Development;
Community Health Services;
Employment Assistance Activities;
Emergency Services; and
Eligible Natural Disasters.
Note: Applications for Category 2 funding (including sporting, cultural and other activities) are adminstered directly by the clubs.

How to Apply

 

Carefully read the ClubGRANTS Guidelines to determine whether your project is eligible for Category 1 funding and to take note of the reporting obligations for funding recipients.

 

Applicants for Category 1 funding are advised to use the Standard Application Form (Category 1 Funding Under $1000 OR Category 1 Funding of $1000 or More). This will ensure your application contains all the information needed to assess your project’s eligibility and priority ranking.

 

When completing the Application Form, address all criteria as fully as possible. The information requested is necessary to assess your application. Missing or unclear information may affect your eligibility for funding or lead to delays in processing your application. Please do not attach lengthy appendixes to your application.

 

Applicants are strongly advised to pay particular attention to how their project addresses the identified priority funding areas and assists people in the local community.
