Ordinary Meeting of Council
Walgett Shire Council will hold an Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 at 10:00am at the Walgett Shire Council Chamber, 77 Fox Street, Walgett.
Members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Council’s website.
Presentation of Financial Statements:
In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), Walgett Shire Council advises that the ordinary Council meeting to be held on 18/11/2025 included the presentation of the audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Reports for the year ending 30/06/2025.

Walgett Shire Council holds Ordinary Council Meetings at 10.00am on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in December, when the meeting is held on the third Tuesday. Meetings take place at the Council Chambers, 77 Fox Street, Walgett, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
The agenda will be available on Council’s website at least three days prior. The open session is live-streamed and recorded, with recordings made available online.
