Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, that an Ordinary Council Meeting of Walgett Shire Council will be held at 9.00am on Tuesday 8 October 2024 at the Walgett Shire Council Chambers, 77 Fox Street, Walgett NSW 2832

Notice of Ordinary Council Meeting

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, that an Ordinary Council Meeting of Walgett Shire Council will be held at 9.00am on Tuesday 22nd October 2024 at the Walgett Shire Council Chambers, 77 Fox Street, Walgett NSW 2832

The agenda for the Meeting will be available from Council Website at least 3 days prior to the meeting date. 

The open meeting will be Live Streamed and recorded, with the recording made publicly available from Council’s website.

Members of the public wishing to address the Public Forum are requested to fill the form or to contact Council by telephone or in person. Persons not registered to speak will not be able to address Council.

Councillor Profiles

The Council is a body of nine members who are elected for a four year term to carry out duties under the provisions of the Local Government Act and Regulations.

The elected body is supported by a team of Council staff who are responsible for bringing the policies and changes into effect.

Please note Councillor elections took place on 14th September 2024 with the following declared as elected.
