Ordinary Meeting of Council
Walgett Shire Council will hold an Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday, 24 February 2026 at 10:00am at the Lightning Ridge Multipurpose Centre, Agate Street, Lighting Ridge.
Members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Council’s website.
Walgett Shire Council holds Ordinary Council Meetings at 10.00am on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in December, when the meeting is held on the third Tuesday. Meetings take place at the Council Chambers, 77 Fox Street, Walgett, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
The agenda will be available on Council’s website at least three days prior. The open session is live-streamed and recorded, with recordings made available online.
