Our road network connects with several neighbouring Shires.
For road closure updates in surrounding areas, please check the road condition reports from Moree Plains, Narrabri, Brewarrina, Balonne, and Coonamble Shire Councils.

Please note: Driving on closed roads is prohibited and may result in fines or charges for any damage caused.

Walgett’s unsealed road condition report will be updated only when conditions change.

• Do not attempt to drive through floodwaters — conditions can change quickly and hazards may be hidden.
