Development Proposal - DA 2025/6

Walgett Shire Council has received a Development Application, DA 2025/6 from Leo Planning Pty Ltd to demolish existing structures and construct a Group Home located on Lot 9, Section 20, DP 758612 – 14 Pandora Street and Lot 16, Section 20, DP 758612 – 46 Opal Street, Lightning Ridge.

The Development Application and relevant site plans can be inspected at Walgett Shire Council’s Administration Office or the Lightning Ridge Office at 77 Fox Street, Walgett and 35 Pandora Street, Lightning Ridge respectively. The documents may be viewed Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am to 4.30pm from Thursday 3rd July 2025 to Friday 18th July 2025. All written submissions on the proposed development will be considered by Walgett Shire Council if received prior to 5.00pm on Friday 18th July 2025. If a written submission is made that objects to the development, then the grounds of objection should be specified within the submission. Council will not consider any confidential submissions.
